Elections – Lone Star Region Porsche Club

The voting will start November 1, 2020 for our board of Directors. All LSRPCA Members and Co-Members will receive a ballot via email from Election Buddy.  If you’ve always had that urge to help our club, becoming a board member or chair is a good way to get involved. Think about it for next year. While it’s good for the club to have a steady direction, it’s to everyone’s advantage to bring in new people with fresh ideas. Everyone has something to contribute.

2021 LSRPCA Election - Candidates

Running for President

Hector Martinez

Hector Martinez

Since 2013 I have been a LSRPCA member when I purchased my Carrera S.  Currently I serve as the LSRPCA Member at Large Director and Co-Chairman of the Concours.  I have hosted many membership events for the club including the upcoming event  a night at the museum to be held at the Houston Museum of Natural Science.  I have assisted with club racing, flagging and scrutineering, and helping with incident reports, DE events, car control schools, auto cross and tours.  I am currently assisting at Porscheplatz throughout the United States.  I have a great passion for the club and it's members and will bring a lot of energy to a new role in the club.  When not working with my Porsche friends, I work for a Radiation Oncology company where I design and build the world's finest cancer centers throughout the world.

He is passionate about the club and relishes improving the way the club operates. Alastair has many years of motorsport and competition driving experience at venues around the world. He is a qualified HPDE instructor with PCA and other organizations. He regularly shares his knowledge and expertise at CCCs and HPDEs throughout Texas. In addition he can often be found working as a volunteer supporting PCA events.

Running for Member at Large

Louis Escorcia

Louis Escorcia

My name is Louis Escorcia, and I have been an LSRPCA member since 2015 but have been a fan of Porsche for as long as I can remember.

I am currently the caretaker of a 1988 Carrera and a 2007 911 4S.

I have participated in many local GTG and rally events in the last five years and have met many wonderful people along the way. My passion for Porsche has taken me across the country and abroad. I have volunteered at the Rolex 24 at Dayton Porscheplatz, attended multiple Rennsport Reunions, numerous Luftgekühlt reunions, Werks Reunions during Monterey Car Week, and in 2019 I traveled to France to cheer on Porsche at the 24 hours of LeMans.

I have over 18 years of business management/marketing experience, and I believe I can be a significant contributor to the club by sharing my experiences and ideas. In addition to having a passion for Porsche, I enjoy the fellowship that comes with being an LSRPCA member.

My commitment will be to help the club continue to grow and introduce new activities for our club members.
