Join us on the evening of February 9th, 2019 for the first Lone Star Region PCA Annual Dinner at the luxurious Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel.

The event will feature two well-known speakers in the Porsche community: PCA National Events Emcee, Mark Shevitz and Flying Lizard Motorsports, Team Principal / Program Manager, Darren Law. Mark and Darren have a wealth of knowledge about PCA and Porsche to share. Both will be available throughout the evening to visit with everyone, and to hand out some special door prizes.
We’ll start the evening with cocktails at 6:00 PM in the reception foyer on the second floor. Dinner will be served in the hotel ballroom starting at 7:00 PM. The price is $35.00 per person. Registration is open now at ClubRegistration.net. Attendance is limited to 300 persons, so make your reservations soon.
There is a block of 20 rooms reserved for those who want to stay the night in the hotel. The special rate is $164.00 per night, plus tax. If you would like to stay for the night, please call the Marriott hotel reservations number at 1.888.236.2427. Reference the event date and the Lone Star Region PCA’s function.
Additional security will be included for our cars in the parking garage. The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center is located 40 minutes from inside Loop 610, 45 minutes from the Katy and Sugar Land, and 55 minutes from the Clear Lake area.

Mark Shevitz

Mark H. Shevitz

Mark has been a public speaker since beginning his professional career in the field of radio and television.

He recently celebrated the 35th anniversary of his first emcee assignment for The Porsche Club of America, where he serves as National Emcee, hosting various types of events ranging from the Porsche Parade to Regional milestone events. He is also the host/emcee for Porsche’s Rennsport Reunion, a global gathering of the Porsche faithful, which takes place every three years and has an audience of over 80,000.

He also serves as emcee for other national events including Pirelli Tire, Xpel Technologies, Miss Teen USA, The St. Louis Children’s Choirs, as well as other local and regional non-profit organizations fundraising events and national meetings.

Mark was the founding President of SJI, Inc., a St. Louis, Missouri based Marketing Services company. In his role, he oversaw all aspects of brand building campaigns for clients such as

In addition, Mark is a professional photographer, specializing in sports. Mark was named Inc. Magazine’s “Entrepreneur of the Year” in 1993.
He earned his MBA in the Executive Program from Washington University in St. Louis.

He and his wife Kelly live in Scottsdale, AZ and have two college-aged sons.

Darren’s diverse background in multiple areas of the automotive industry range from professional driver at a factory level in both Prototypes and GT cars, TV personality as well as team and business manager coupled with his unique speaking style, make him one of the most sought-after speakers in motorsports today.

Darren has been the Team owner and Business Manager of Flying Lizard Motorsports since 2014.

Darren believes that leading by example is paramount on the track, in business and personally.

Darren’s hands on experiences, real life stories and illustrations will provide insight and keep you on the edge of your seat.
