CONCOURS

A Concours d' Elegance is an assembly of automobiles in competition on their relative merits in terms of coach work, design, finish and appointments - that is, how good do they look. LSR Concours are based on the practical reality that most of us have many other priorities, limited time, and may well use our Porsches as daily-drivers.  The odds are that most of the cars shown locally are prepared in a few hours and generally driven to the event prior to a final cleanup.  everyone should have a good time enjoying their cars and meeting other enthusiasts. Our effort to create a great social occasion for the entrants, their spouses and/or kids, who can also enjoy the company of others with similar interests.

Volunteers

The Concours committee consists of:

The concours committee needs volunteers.  The same group has been doing concours for years has done an excellent job but they need some help.  You do NOT need to be an expert on Porsches or concours.  For example, volunteers are needed to time the judges, to tally the score sheets, and to order shirts and trophies.  Some of these jobs can be done from your home or office and you would not come to the concours (but you really should because we have a great time).

If you enter your car in the concours, you can still be a volunteer, just not a judge. And there is another reason to volunteer.  You get to work with great people and make great friends.

So, you have no excuse.

Send an email to Sylvia or Jim and they will find a job that is perfect for you.
