Advertising on the Lone Star Region FaceBook Page
Classified ads may be posted on the Lone Star Region FaceBook Page. You must be a member of FaceBook and join the Lone Star Region Group on FaceBook in order to post an ad.
Our most active members regularly log on to FaceBook, and since the creation of the Lone Star Region Group, nearly all ads have been posted there, rather than on the classifieds page of the website. Hence the classifieds page has been disconintued.
Commercial advertisments are not allowed. Business firms that provide Porsche / Porsche-related services, parts, accessories, etc., may wish to have an advertisement in The Lone Star, the official magazine of the Lone Star Region reaching over 1,300 Porsche owners in the 37 county area around Houston. This involves a small fee. Please contact The Lone Star editor. Advertisers in The Lone Star are also listed in the panel on the right of each webpage on the LSR website.
Ads that do not meet the above criteria, that are not Porsche-related, or are otherwise inappropriate will be removed and the person posting the item will be blocked from the FaceBook page. If you belive your ad has been erroneously removed, please contact the Member at Large with your information.
To post an ad, go to the Lone Star Region FaceBook page.
Try to stay at about 50 words.
You may be contacted about your ad through the FaceBook personal message feature. If you wish to post additional contact information (your e-mail address, phone number, mailing address) you may do so, but this is not advised.
You are encouraged to include one or more photos.
As is true of all FaceBook postings, your ad will move down the timeline as new posts are added. You are welcome to repost your ad or comment on it, to keep it at or near the top of the timeline.
Items are postedfor the convenience of the persons wishing to buy or sell relevant automobiles, parts, services, etc., who use the site at their own risk. Neither the Lone Star Region nor Porsche Club of America warrant the accuracy of the information, take responsibility for any actions of the buyers or sellers, nor do they have any involvement in the commercial arrangements made between buyer or seller. Prospective buyers and sellers should note that similar web sites have been the target of fraud.
